This milestone aligns perfectly with our mission to empower clinical innovators with AI-ready, ethical data tools designed to deliver meaningful impact for underserved patient communities.
LIHE is a pioneering initiative, backed by UKRI and the Wellcome Trust, and built to accelerate MedTech breakthroughs from bench to bedside. Situated within St Thomas’ Hospital, LIHE brings together NHS clinicians, academic researchers, and global industry leaders such as Siemens Healthineers, NVIDIA, and Medtronic under one roof, creating a truly unique environment for innovation.
As part of the Accelerator, OPORA Health will benefit from world-class support in regulatory strategy, clinical translation, quality assurance, governance, and health tech assessment—all essential for scaling responsibly and effectively across London’s richly diverse population, representing over 100 ethnic backgrounds.
