OPORA Health was founded by product innovators, researchers, and entrepreneurs working at the intersection of health, data, and AI. The company emerged from Skein’s Digital Innovation Lab, an international innovation hub with teams across Europe, where our work was supported and validated through European Union research and innovation programmes.

From the start, our work has been grounded in real-world Health AI development. We collaborate closely with early-stage Health AI innovators, research funders, clinicians, and patients to understand what actually blocks progress: fragmented data infrastructure, unclear regulatory expectations, and governance requirements that arrive too late to be useful. Alongside leading academic researchers and hands-on clinical practitioners, we translated these realities into a structured requirements and evidence engine that underpins OPORA today.

OPORA Health’s mission is to enable trustworthy Health AI at scale. We build infrastructure that allows teams to design, develop, and operate AI systems that are compliant by design, evidence-ready, and centred on real human needs. Our focus is not abstract ethics or paperwork, but practical systems that make responsible, clinically meaningful AI possible in the real world.
